Job Description

Fulcrum Construction Limited is a rapidly expanding construction contractor based in Winton, Bournemouth. We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Site Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations on a variety of projects across the South Coast. About the Role:
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all on-site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the key point of contact between the site teams, subcontractors, and management, driving productivity and maintaining a positive site environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise site operations on a daily basis, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and in-house teams to maintain workflow and meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, undertaking site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular site inspections.
  • Liaise with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and Clients regarding site progress, issues, and updates.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, proactively addressing potential delays or cost overruns.
  • Maintain detailed site records including progress reports, site diaries, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Oversee quality control procedures, ensuring workmanship and materials meet project and regulatory standards.
  • Manage deliveries, site logistics, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Promote a positive site culture, ensuring all personnel adhere to company policies and procedures.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of managing projects from start to completion (Residential, Commercial, Public Sector projects).
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and site management best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook/Gmail).
  • SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card preferable), and First Aid at Work qualifications.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the South Coast.
